(1) According to rule 26, the applicant who wants to apply for a surveyor's license must have one of the following qualifications:-
(a) Having acquired work experience related to insurance business for at least ten years in an officer-level position in the office of an insurer,
(b) At least Bachelor's degree in Engineering subject,
(c) having obtained at least a bachelor's degree in an insurance related subject from an international level Chartered Insurance Institute or a recognized institution of such institutions, or
(d) Passed the Chartered Accountancy Examination.
(2) Applicants who have qualified as per clause (a), (b), (c) or (d) of sub-rule (1) must have participated in surveyor training conducted by the committee and received a certificate of completion before obtaining a surveyor's license.
